I get the feeling that players outside of the club want to see how well they transition before committing to them.
If they are their usual self and look like not dropping down the rungs at all, I imagine they will be able to sign some decent players in the Jan transfer window. If they are struggling a bit I can see them not landing anyone though.
Having said that the players he went for could just think he's a muppet and don't want to play for him. The one signing he did get he overpaid for and to be honest he isn't the type of midfielder they need.
Interesting times ahead for ManUre!
I don't think United paid over the odds for Fellaini given the current transfer market place.
It's a good signing for Moyes.
Fact is they did pay £4m over the odds as he had a buyout clause that they knew about and let expire.
They offered £28m for Fellaini and Baines only to buy the midfielder for £600k less than that paltry bid.
They tried to be cute and it backfired, yes they got the mid they wanted in the end but I don't think that he is the player to deliver the final cutting pass to RVP, Welbeck and Chicarito.
