EPL Tipping Competition 2013/2014

This year I am considering creating the EPL Tipping Competition on http://www.footytips.com.au. I had had a quick look and besides not entering a score for all the games it is a pretty similar set up to the way the competition has been run in the past. There is only one game where the result/margin is entered and this is to separate to tippers on the same score. Jokers would be for the whole round and not just for a game and a bonus point can be awarded for getting all the games correct.

I would still post the ladders and updates in this thread but it just makes it easier for me as the calculating and management does not need to be done by me (will also mean no mistakes).

Would tippers be interested in this? You would have to create a profile (if you have not already got one) and join the competition, if you are already on footytips.com.au then you will just have to join the competition.

I have already created a competition in preparation of this... Seems like a good idea to me (and involved less work for me)...

Give each tipper 3 joker rounds they can use throughout the season.
Because it would be unlikely to get a perfect round i set 3 bonus points as the reward.
If you forget to submit your tips you get the lowest score -1.

If i get enough responses ill post the link and the password for people to join.

haha not sure... either -1 or also 0... it doesn't explain that scenario, you can bet it will happen at some stage though

I'm in as well, same site as NFL tipping so works out nicely.
Might have some issues when the NFL finishes remembering to do tips as I don't follow the EPL massively

any chance of doing like $2.00 for every round for every tipper and the winner of the round gets the winnings? Or are we to keep it with no money involved. Not fussed either way

I did think about having an entry fee but reality is it is too late to organise that. If this works well (on footytips) i'll do it next season. Mainly about having fun and having some banter.
