Di Canio beats Moyes

Postby johntheclaret » Mon Sep 23, 2013 8:10 am

Di Canio has been sacked by Sunderland

I was expecting Moyes to go 1st but I guess when you go and stand in front of your fans like he did at WBA then not sure where they go from there

My tips

Lambert next
Followed by Jol and Moyes

And when you come out and say your back line doesn't speak English then its not long before you are gone

Brought in 15 new signings during the close season

I would think it was a tough call for the powers that be to get rid of him. Obviously his antics and their embarrassment outweighed the idea of giving him time for the new team to gel

Whoever comes in now has 15 new recruits that aren't his own. Tough job for anyone

Sunderland becoming the next bastard rovers

Phew. I was just starting to think we may as well head straight to the Championship and play for promotion for next season.

Bye to the nasty little fascist.

Agreed. I felt just a tad uncomfortable with him at the helm.

You should check out When Saturday Comes, an excellent lefty (kind of) football mag which has written at length about Di Canio's less than salubrious political views.

Potentially,

His always borderline because of the style he plays.

The west ham fans don't appreciate shit results and a shit game style

Traditionally though West Ham have generally sacked managers when there has been a 'better' replacement openly looking for a job ala Redknapp, Zola, Big Sam

Since when has the fans ever been a consideration. EPL = AFL

As long as he keeps them clear of the bottom 3 he will be alright.

Personally, I think Jol looks in a bit of danger, but if you are a betting man I would throw a few $$$$ on Ollie at Palace. He hasn't settled there and his comments have upset the board on more than one occasion.
Perhaps another month and still winless.......

Ask the Chavs managers ;)
Mourinho already having arguments with Abramovich over his style of play and team selection. Abramovich not happy that Mata isnt playing and had a go at Mourinho's boring game style.
If things go pear shaped early id expect him to get the chop

That's the point though if things go pear shaped it won't matter if it's boring Arsenal style football or Spurs all out attack and flair style he will still be gonski.

But even with his boring style of football, if he wins the league and the Champions League he will be a hero. Oh hang on this is Chavski we're talking about so winning the CL might not keep in his job. Bad example
