Ask a chairman, he will always say the CL as it generates about another £70m in revenue.
Winning the league gains you very little more revenue than finishing 3rd these days.

It's about prestige and ragging rights and winning the league probably means more to the manager, players and fans but unfortunately in these times of the money men, the revenue is more important than the prestige.

A lot of Liverpool fans tend to agree that the CL is the trophy to win. That's probably because they haven't won the PL title in 25 years

Most say that because it's an argument we stand a chance in .. All Liverpool people I know and know of (so we're talking in the 100's) ALL crave the league title, whether they admit it publicly or not.

I don't know 100's of Liverpool fans, just a few family members, but I agree that they have been craving the PL title as long as they've been alive. Which for some is that same amount of time since Liverpool last won it. They do bring out the old 5 CL trophies to nil (I'm a Gunners man) when they cant go any further in the argument  .

cue johntheclaret :D

Now you mention it, this year is the 100th anniversary of the 1st FA Cup final attended by Royalty.
It was the Royal endorsement that made the FA Cup what it is/was. In those days it was played at various venues including The Crystal Palace, not to be confused with Crystal Palace the football club.
It was on the back of the Royal Endorsement that Wembley Stadium was conceived and built specifically as a venue to host the FA Cup Final.

So yes in a roundabout way Arsenal v Hull at Wembley is thanks to Burnley.
In fact Burnley were not only the first club to play in front of Royalty in the FA Cup, but the 1st club to be attended by Royalty and the first ground to be visited by Royalty.

Oh, guess who won the FA Cup that year Bully. :D

No need to be like that mate.
You did ask. I was only relaying history. I can't help it if I happen to support one of the most influential clubs in footballing history.

I didn't ask anything john. You said "burnley have more chance of winning the title than Arsenal". ........ Not me. All it was, was a troll with what you said.

I responded with a troll of "must be thanks to Burnley FC"
