United have agreed a fee for Daley Blind, pretty happy with that signing.

Should be atleast 2 more.
Defenders are junk.
Evans, Smalling, Young, Cleverley, Fletcher, Anderson should never play another minute fir United. Valencia can stay but should be used as backup only. Id cash in on Rooney aswell, totally disinterested and doesnt want to be out there, he can feck off.
Cant understand how Janusazj doesnt get more if a go

Loic Remy to either Arsenal or the Chavs

knowing it chelsea will offer double what we offer, he will then play second fiddle to costa and drogba and sit on the bench for the season, and then be transferred overseas

Papers were saying up to 11 players will move in or out this week Jim
BBC MOTD also reported it last night. I'm sure it's all speculative but Graaf has to do something pretty drastic to the back four if you want to stand a chance of finishing in the top half let alone top four.

Interestingly a lot of those duds are Fergie's signing!!!

Yes they were Fergies signings, some were good for awhile but have passed their used by dates, some were utter duds from the start. For every good signing there is always a bad one but reckon Ferg may have got it right more often than not

From afar it seems as though a lot of those players were good squad players, but perhaps not capable of stepping up to the levels of some of the bigger names to leave in recent years?

Somewhat true.
Smalling and Evans look like world beaters with Rio, Evra and Vidic around them. Now they are the key defenders they are useless.
Young has never been anything special IMO, Fletcher was good in his day but severe injury/illness has hampered him and Cleverley was decent as a kid but hasnt improved and has probably gone backwards if anything

Can you please sell Cleverley for about 10 mil or more, cos Bradford City have a 10% sell on clause...

See what you can do thanks Jim...

That'll have to do, better than him leaving for a free at the end of his contract...

A manager proves himself by extracting improvement out of players already at his disposal.

With the list he inherited, a bloke of Van Gaal's supposed managerial genius should be able to get United firing without spending the GDP of a small country on new players.

He's talking about problems in attack when he has Rooney, Van Persie and Hernandez. A lot of managers would love to have those 'problems'!

Van Gaal will be ok, every club he has ever been at has started slowly when he took over. Very demanding manager and its his way or the exit door, some players take awhile to adapt to his style. People hoping for quick fix miracles were always bound to be disappointed. Wont see improvement for a couple of months atleast

Moyes was a mistake from the start. He was given the same financial backing as Van Gaal but its a fact that atleast 4 world class players refused to sign for us because of him. A big club like United need a big name manager, Moyes couldnt handle the day to day circus and dramas that accompany United. Think his other main downfall was he tried not rocking the boat and went too easy on the players last year, Fergie ruled with an iron fist and LVG will do aswell, Moyes let them get away with too much.
Was a very differant era when Ferg took over, we were a basket case and a absolute rabble on and off field, he couldnt convert us overnight, took a fair while to clean out the club and start fresh.

Surely Woodward has to get the arse? Constantly paying top dollar for players in positions that they actually don't need to strengthen in while neglecting the areas that do.

I suspect that 40m quid buyout clause would also only be any good if they make CL and Falcao agrees to stay. I think it's his way of getting his knee right with a limited amount of games before heading to Madrid next year!

Saw on bleacher report that Stoke have some interest in Sergi Roberto from Barca. Has links with muniesa and boyan and was at the last home match against chelsea. Would be a handy addition to the midfield and create some more competition for spots... wouldnt mind him at all
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do
