Yeah think it was similar. That was the kick up the backside we needed, spurred us on to 3 straight after that. I remember Fergie saying that was the most gutted he felt at the time, it also drew Arsenal level on titles with us and he vowed that they would never overtake us on his watch

Think it will be who can beat chelsea for the next few seasons from here.

Arsenal will have our usual win the first few games, have a bad patch as usual, then win the remander 15 games like every season and finish 4th or above
Man city will buy the world again to compete
Man utd, well who knows could go anywhere can see the cracks starting to appear again
Liverpool will sack rodgers and struggle
Tottenums will be their usual selves

i do like EPL, but surely you must and other must find it frustrating that the same teams every single year finish up top? i certainly do... Everyone else is pretty much making up the numbers.

Maybe the other teams should find a way to improve to match it with them.

not at all... There is a salary cap...

This isn't a new thing in the EPL, this has been like this for the past 20 years atleast. I think people are getting a little defensive, i was asking if it is frustrating for the die hard EPL fans?

But even with all the drafts, caps, dodgey fixturing there has been only what 4 or 5 Premiers in the last 10 years and 4 EPL winners over the same time. There are plenty of clubs at AFL that havnt won stuff all in my lifetime and probably wont either.
Money helps in the EPL but smaller clubs have shown that with the right bunch of players they can mix with the best, there are plenty of clubs spending heaps to be sitting mid to bottom of the table

It's easy as a Liverpool fan (and Im sure those of many other clubs) to bemoan the lack of money, but that's the soft way out I reckon. We still spend enough to challenge, just means we make too many bad decisions.

Terrible again. 26 shots to 6 and 80% of the ball and cant find the back of the net. Missed a pen aswell, the Baggies get a deflected goal with one of their few foray forwards. That final 5 points we require is becoming impossible
