Deserved a point this morning, more than matched Arsenal. When your luck’s out though...
They’re first goal had their striker with studs up, then a wicked deflection for their second.
Honourable losses are no good with the position we find ourselves in. Repeat performances like this morning however, gives great hope of staying up.

With arsenal fielding a weaker team due to Europa being priority Southampton had their chance.

My predictor says you’ll be ok
I have Huddersfield, Stoke and the Baggies going down
Hudds with 32 points and Saints with 35

But then again I have the Clarets finishing 5th on 64 points with Chelsea 63 6th and Arsenal 63 in 7th

The fact is he’s not winning and haven’t come close to winning since 07/08. Fans have had enough this is their way of saying we’ve had enough

Great game to watch in the end by two teams who play the game as it should be played.
Man City win 3-1 and very close to the championship.
Bed time for me!

2-0 up after an hour, then Chelsea score 3 in 8 minutes
There was no doubt after that that Palace & Huddersfield would both win
I think we’re gone now.

Agree. Very frustrating. Much improved performances over the past 2 weeks but nothing to show for it. Maybe Wembley in May as a consolation?

Last chance next week at Swansea, must get all 3 points.
I must admit, part of me would rather see us win the Cup but go down...

Bloody hope not. Soton win at Wembley = Clarets stay at home. Soton lose = Clarets into Europe

Especially since we put 9 points between us and the Foxes.

On the game, Burnley tore Leicester apart for the 1st 20 mins and even after 10 mins should have been 4-0 up. 2nd half we sat back and just try to break us down which made it all a bit nervous towards the end.

That makes 5 wins on the bounce and keeps the pressure on the gunners above. The Arsenal v Clarets game could be really interesting

As long as we win Europa and beat you in the 90th minute you can finish above us.

Bit dangerous putting all your eggs in the Europa basket. We almost came unstuck last year doing it

Well that says how far we have come or how far you have fallen.
Another away game next up too. BTW Arsenal are the only team in the premiership not to pick up a single point away from home since Christmas
Home form, 3rd in the league, Away form, Bottom of the league
