I am genuinely fearful he will leave if not backed by Levy in the transfer market. He's put it out there publicly that he feels the squad needs a re-investment to compete on all fronts, basically a challenge to the owner, and it wouldn't surprise me if we haven't made any significant moves by mid-June that he may be off. And hard to blame him.

Poch's presser after the CL semi final was bizarre. Bayern also interested.

Villa back up into the top flight. Good to have a bigger club back up in the PL IMO.

Fingers crossed this takeover will go through for the Toon, can't wait to see the end of fatty Ashley. New owners should be able to keep Rafa if they are willing to spend.
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

The Championship play off game was terrific. Villa deserved their 2-0 lead, but Derby were magnificent in the last 20 minutes and could easily have grabbed an equaliser. You would expect all three of the promoted sides will have to invest heavily just give themselves a chance to survive.

Rafa gone from the toon :(

Unless the potential new owners have someone lined up this is a ridiculous move!!!

Newcastle are not going to renew Rafa Benitez contract. Reports that some bookies are already paying out on them getting relegated.
