Just interested to know who you are with in English Soccer and if the colours of your team or the logo of the team is the same as your SANFL affiliation?
I am with Sheffield Wednesday - The Owls, they are Blue and White the same as South Adelaide.

Im not one to follow teams just because they have the same colour or emblem as North, South Freo would be the only one there (and even then they're the bulldogs).
I follow Tottenham in the EPL and various teams with different logos and colours all around the wordl.

Sort of check results from time to time on West Ham, but they seem to be not going that well this season.

Millwall/Man U.
Saw Bryan Robson's last game.
His career ended with an injury (surprise, surprise) against the Lions at The New Den.

I'm getting back into the round ball game (after losing interest in my teenage years) and that's mostly been helped by the rejuvenation of a national soccer league and greater access to results/reports via the internet. Living in an Aussie rules town, I've initially found it hard to find people to talk football with. Adelaide United's higher profile in media has brought some football fans out of the woodwork and reinvigorated my interest.
Anyway - I'm a Sunderland supporter.
Started off as a joke to piss off my Newcastle supporting brother-in-law.
But it's kind of fun to following battlers, and with my Central District heritage, the Black Cats are a good fit.
I also follow the mighty Glasgow Rangers, Palermo in Italy because of the wonderful Vinnie Grella, and have also taken an interest in minor league English club Slough Town due to my love of the great English comedy The Office.

I'm a Liverpool fan - As a young kid waiting on a Sunday morning for Footy shows to come on, I'd have to wait through the NBA and English Soccer beforehand ... The two teams that used to get the most exposure back then were the Boston Celtics and Liverpool, so I quickly started becoming familiar wih their players and they became my teams.
One of my best mates old man played for Celtic in the SPL (and nationally) so I started following them too back in the mid 90's ... Figuring I might aswell have a team in another big league I became a Barcelona supporter which would be the only one based on the colours (and the fact they weren't Real Madrid).

Pffft Celtic! See how mighty they are without Henrik Larrsonn. Time for Rangers to get back on top me thinks.
