LIV 0
MAN UTD 1

The wrong side won

LIV had a goal disallowed for a wrongly interpreted offside.
MU scored 91 mins.

Great game dominated by LIV, such is the vaugeries of soccer.

SCHOLES out for 3 weeks ???

Man Utd were lucky. 1st goal allowed at Arnfield in a PL game since October last year.

Lucky? Yes. Champion teams win games like this though, what a way to win.. what a game!
Down to 10 men then Ronaldo whips in a beauty of a free kick and O'SHEA of all people scores!
Liverpool just weren't good enough, last night showed why they haven't gone close to a title in a long, long time.

just like MAN UTD were lucky to beat fulham last week as well!!!!!!!!!

the other teams are just bitter that the race is over and it will be the 9th title in 15 yrs for MAN UTD.

good to see CHELSEA not doing anything special even though they try to BUY titles!!!!!!!!!!!!

hopefully BARCA on tuesday go to ANFIELD and give liverpool a real lesson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

 Sadly, you are spot on the money RM, Chelsea have done the same thing for the last few years, Arsenal and Man U (particularly in one of the Cantona years) also did it before them ... It's called maximising on opportunities and thats hw the game works.

Pretty heartening performance by the Reds, but I hope they can shake off the loss prior to the visit by Barcelona.

Correct. Before Chelsea's dominance began and United were regularly on top and winning titles they regularly stole wins but the past few years have been unable to do that, now they have arsed games away to Fulham and Liverpool, their old aura is back. The amazing thing is Liverpool hadn't conceded at home for 15.5 hours or something?
You can't win comfortably 2/3/4-0 every game, the EPL is a tough league and sometimes you have to be able to score late winners, hopefully Chelsea slip up soon or we could go to Stamford Bridge and beat them instead.

Anyone catch West Ham vs Spurs? I didn't watch it as I went to bed after my Cardiff went down to Birmingham but it was an amazing game. West Ham led 2-0 at HT, then it was 2-2 before West Ham scored with 5 mins to go, in about the 89th minute Spurs leveled from a free, and after 5 mins of stoppage time broke away and scored a late, late winner. Cracking game and heart break for West Ham who are almost certain to go down now, i just watched the highlights.. some great goals. The 2nd goal by Spurs came from a "ridiculous" set up by Lennon, great skill.
