Buckle up for EPL coverage

Postby dinglinga » Tue Aug 07, 2007 10:23 pm

This Saturday the early game at 9:45pm EST on Fox Sports 2 is Sunderland v Spurs.

At midnight the game chosen is West Ham v Man City however if you don't want to watch that game, press the red button on your Foxtel remote and you will be launced into Viewers Choice. On your screen will appear four other matches, in this case Bolton v Newcastle, Derby v Portsmouth, Everton v Wigan and Middlesbrough v Blackburn. Navigate around the screen using your remote and chose which game you want to watch.

Last year Fox showed up to 6 matches live per week, this year it will be 9 or 10. The only game not on this weeknd is Arsenal v Fulham because of the time it's on. Sunday midday UK time.

It's illegal to show all 38 matches of a club's season but you'll probably see 35 or 36 LFC matches this coming campaign. There's 380 matches played in a season and you'll now get between 350-360 of them live on Fox Sports

PLUS THERE MORE..................\

Not to mention setanta sports is coming to foxtel ($14.95 a month) from september onwards.

Add French, Scottish, German leagues to your collection.

Sheesh, 9 live matches?!!!!!

I thought by coming to the promised land, I'd be seeing far more live football than back in Aus. Sky only has 3-4 live games per week. All others are viewers choice games, which is still good.

Looks like I'll have to come home :(

Nothing will beat being at White Hart Lane next Tuesday night though!!! COYS!!!

I wouldn't be a Black Cats defender for quids this weekend. Berbatov, Keano, Defoe and Bent, plus Taarabt and Jenas.......Roy Keane's boys will need to pull something special to avoid a 5-0 flogging.

Your only saving grace is that we have Ledley King and Aaron Lennon on the sidelines.

This week is taking FOREVER!!!

Just checked the guide on Austar and it says "interactive" for the midnight games..
I'm praying that Austar DO get it as they normally lag months behind FOX with the interactive stuff.
As a 'pool supporter, might have to wait and see if SETANTA get LFCTV onboard before subscribing to that.
Can't wait !

Does anyone know whats going on with the Liverpool vs West Ham game scheduled for Wednesday August 15th. Both West Ham's official web site and the premier league web site say it is going ahead yet the official Liverpool web site say they have champions league commitments. Also will this game be on fox any information would be greatly appreciated.
