It's completely rubbing people the wrong way, the thought of a hidden lounge on safooty.net, possibly full of controversial posters who may possibly be making detrimental comments towards other posters, including moderators.

My impression is that people bagging other posters or mods in the lounge is a only a small part of the issue. That's just based on my views of it and the stuff that has been posted across the two threads. I think it's more complicated than that. This is just me speaking as a dumb poster. I am not a moderator.

I would say you are being naive. How can mods make decisions on deleting, warning and banning posters without getting personal? So what has worried you so much has been going on since day dot.

Some interesting questions of legal liability arise out of having an unmoderated yet semi-public forum, I guess all this sites owners must have agreed to it though. Let's hope for Dutchy and Dissident's sake it never gets tested.
