I think that you will find this is pretty common in the States as well.

MASSIVE lakers fan!! (named my first first born Kobe!)

NFL i dont mind chicago, eagles and jets.

not really into NHL, but would say red wings if i had to make a choice.

college football i'm all for texas, college bball i'm UCLA and Uconn.

Utah Jazz - Loved Stockton/Malone on one of the early PC versions of basketball
Oakland A's - Cant remember why
Oakland Raiders - cause of the A's, Passion of their fans is amazing
Toronto Maple Leafs - Just cause I was in the city and a pub when they won the Stanley cup, amazing

Loved Sprewell, Mullin.. Chris Webber..


Mullin was a great player and I though he might do something special as a GM but they shafted him.
Sprewell was a good player but a time bomb, didn't he try to strangle the coach?
