Argentina got out of gaol against Tonga, with a try in extra time and then a conversion off the upright to win 19-17, very, very lucky

Went along last night..
Didn't know much about it - loved it!
sensational, multicultural atmosphere.
Argentina finish was very exciting, try after the buzzer and conversion off the post. Good times

Thanks for some updates gdb...much appreciated.

As far as I can tell it's not getting shown here at all on any channel...not even Murdoch's evil empire seem to be covering it...pretty poor show when it's the national teams that are playing but then I suppose things like live cross country skiing from Sweden really should take priority

no probs, England actually missed the 1/4 finals as they lost to USA last night
it was an exciting game between Aus/Eng, went right down to the wire

the 1/4 finals are:
NZ v Samoa
Aus v Fiji
Wales v USA
South Africa v Argentina

anyone of 5 could win I reckon

in the 1/4 finals
Samoa beat NZ
Aus beat Fiji
USA beat Wales
Argies beat South Africa

so the semi finals are
Samoa v Aus
USA v Argies

Samoa beat Aus to make the final
