Philadelphia back up QB Mike Kafka did a fantastic job - his first ever minutes in an NFL match - late in the game to keep the Eagles in it and if it hadn't been for an absolute howler of dropped pass by receiver Jeremy Maclin on fourth down late in the game, they may have won it.

He's a 2nd year player, not a rookie, so he's played 8 preseason games too.

OK, but I never said he was a rookie and preseason games don't count in my eyes.

It's still an NFL game, he's still spent time on a field. You make it look like he's never taken a snap in anger.

Just simply trying to point out that someone who has never been used in an actual NFL match did a good job for his team.

Hopefully the Skins can go 3-0 by towelling up the Cowgirls on Monday night football. Dallas are the walking wounded and it would be sweet to further add to their pain by knocking them off in their home seasoning opener

Well as a Giants fan I am glad to say you got that wrong as the G men really did destroy philly in there own back yard, the eagles had to work hard and settle for mostly points from filed goals as the giants d was on top of things and the eagles d was letting the giants go up the filed to easly, also nothing better then knocking off philly.
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

from the NFL web site:
The Detroit Lions sealed their first 3-0 start since 1980 after coming back from a 20-0 halftime deficit to beat the Vikings 26-23 on Jason Hanson's overtime field... \:D/
