got back from Browns beach sunday arvo, went up there for 2 nights.
Spent about 4-5hrs on the beach saturday around high tide, we only managed to bag 3-4 salmon around 1-1.25kg and a few tommies. We also got 3-4 mullet, 2 of them would have been 35+cm's.
Overall was a great weekend wish we had of landed a few more big salmon though.

Browns is easy. Foul weather = good salmon fishing.

I agree its either on or not.
That being said, winds were around 15 knots saturday, there was plenty of swell allowing waves to break over the reef, really we had it all right but didnt get alot.
Still more then others on the beach though!

Truck load over on Yorke Penisula, but local is starting to fire up. Best results so far have come from Glenelg, West Beach and Seacliff area.

Land based at the bay pretty sad. Go west beach, wade out and catch some gar or yellow fin in the summer. Winter get some mullet. Squid go south off jetties that have nice sea grass beds.

I have a spot for drifting that I named squid alley. Many bag limits come from there in short time. Want the mark gazz?
