2-6 for 27 yards. I wouldn't call that better

No score for three quarters and they were playing a guy with a bung knee in the last quarter
He was no way fit to play in that last quarter
They were better off going with the fit guy for longer than 5 minutes and not putting RG III at risk for next season and beyond
Just like baseball when the pitcher is rooted - you change
I'm no Redskins fan but that was just stupid

It was all over by then
He wasn't really given a chance
I'm glad the Shawks won - they have been a better team all year plus I hate Washington
It was a good game to watch - made better by Washington being up 14 points at the start and the Shawks having to come from behind

He did alright in consecutive plays, and the Skins looked to have copped a bad "non-call" on a decent play when he threw to Moss who looked to have been pulled down

The Bengals extend the longest current playoff win drought to 22 seasons since their last playoff win in the 1990 season (last win Jan 1991)

Other long current droughts:

- Bills last win in 1995 season
- Browns last win in 1994 before the old team moved to Baltimore
- Chiefs last win in 1993
- Lions last win in 1991
In between signatures .....

50/50
No-one picked Notre Dame to be in it
It is the No 1 v 2 seeded college sides in the US post season
Whoever wins it is the No 1 college side
IIRC, the seeds are done by votes around the country

The seedings are done by a mixture of voting and weighted win loss statistics.
This is the big one for College and will fill the coffers of the College that wins.
As Jimmy says Notre Dame were not even ranked at the start of the season but have played really good defensive football to get to where they are at. But never underestimate the Crimson Tide in a Bowl game. This should be a fantastic game although closer to NFL style than the usual offensive college game.

I wont be accessing this forum today
The game is being replayed at 7pm tonight - cant wait
College football has a bit more pazzazz as they chuck the ball around a lot more and do switches
Then there's the cheerleaders................
They get more airtime than their older sisters
The Tides cheerleaders are unbelievable - wait til you see them going for it in the stands

Doesn't look good for RG3, partial torn ACL & LCL.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/nfl-r ... rs-for-rg3

Didn't realise he previously had an ACL injury in college
Coach Shanahan is getting smashed in the media & fans with his handling of the injury and Not taking him out the game when it was clear he was injured.

The Crimson Tide run over the top of the Fighting Irish to win their third BCS championship in four years. I did enjoy the altercation between Quarterback and Centre for Bama in the last quarter as they had it all wrapped up.

This will be his 2nd reco, reckon he might lose a bit of that explosive pace.
Shanahan is copping plenty but he has that much power at the Skins that nothing will happen to him
