Exactly!

At least stosur is more recent and can be used instead of us now

Watching super bowl media day ATM
Massive day all starters for the 49ers have their own booths that are spread across the ground.
2 hours solid and then its the Ravens turn

Looking forward to a cracking SB and a 49ers win.

Rumours of Atlanta Falcons possible move to Los Angeles...

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000 ... st-from-la

Sounds to me like the owners just want a new stadium, and threw in the old "we've had interest from someone else" to get the city council worried, and willing to chip in mo' money.

Wonder how Valleys would feel about it if it did happen? It would be interesting to see if people outside of the US follow the team, or the city...If they became the Los Angeles Falcons, and Atlanta got a new or existing team to move there, who would you go for?

LA Falcons or Atlanta Browns?

Interesting article.

I follow the team, not the city, however if the Falcons packed up and moved to LA....I cant say im a massive fan of the Lakers and wouldnt want to follow an LA based team.

Would reserve my judgement to see what happens before i make a boycotting call.

I cant really see it happening, the article got me thinking about how I would feel if the Texans left like the Oilers did. I dont know who I would follow.

The problem I have is, if the Texans relocate, itd be unlikely for them to stay in Texas. So there goes the Texans name. It would be like when the Browns moved to Baltimore, or when the Oilers went to Tennesse, even though that took a while for them to take on the Titans name.

Also, while I was reading stuff on NFL.com, I came across stories about how Alex Smith will be shopped around after the Super Bowl. Since he's handled being overtaken by Kaep, he's pretty much taken to coaching Colin, making him even better, thus making it more unlikely Smith will ever get his job back. This apparently is good news for prospective employers of Smith, because its a weak Draft for QBs coming up, and teams are in the market for a guy that could come in for a season as starter, then once they draft a youngster, he could be more of a mentoring 2nd stringer. The 49ers have also agreed to a Kurt Tippett deal and let him pick where he ends up.

BUT...what I started thinking about was...IF Kaep got injured in the Super Bowl, and Alex Smith won the game for them, would the 49ers still want to see him leave? He's stated he would like to stay, but at this point, its very unlikely.

Current Superbowl Odds:
Ravens 2.51 49ers 1.56

Sportsbet also has some nice prop bets - including:
Ray Lewis to be shown crying real tears during the National anthem performed by alicia keys 1.12
(You cant back that he wont'be shown crying though)

Should be a tough, brutal game with both Def hitting hard.
Kaepernick to lead the 49ers to Lombardi No 6.

Also Adrian Peterson won the NFL MVP, incredible achievement coming back from an ACL injury suffered at the end of the previous season.

Baltimore to win- the only reason being that out of the AFC and NFC championship game final 4, they were the only side I never put money on as SB champions. That is a sure sign the ravens will get up

I'm going for SF as I hate the ravens.
But I actually think the ravens will win.

Im still not decided on who to go for, but think the 49ers will win. I just really hope Ray Lewis doesnt win. Purely because all of the post-Super Bowl media coverage will be about him, not the team.

They all forget he shot a man and put it all on his mates a decade ago.

Also I like how Kaepernick plays.

Problem is, Im not a fan of the 49ers either.
