So the hate is because the Cowboys are better than their teams?

Last year the Texans had more supporters at AT&T than Dallas did.

They arent "Americas Team", they aren't even Texas' team.

I think a lot of the hate from outside their division comes from the whole notion that the whole country goes for them. Plus they live off of their 90's success.

Imagine if Carlton called themselves Australias Team and constantly brought up how good their team was 20 years ago when arguing whos team is better.

They're like the Collingwood of the NFL - Talk themselves up, and are either loved by those who follow them and hated by everyone else. Jones probably comparable to Eddie McGuire in some ways too.

This is an amusing subject for me.... I can't imagine any of Carlton, Richmond, Essendon, Collingwood etc claiming to be "the team for all Victorians", nor could I ever imagine that their respective club songs would contain the lines.... we're the pride of Victoria.... or admiration of the nation......

There is only one AFL club that would make such self proclamations..... yet not understand why some people think they are tossers!

Could you imagine any NFL team adopting the stars & stripes as their playing uniform.....not likely!
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

I am very annoyed the Texans let Ryan Fitzpatrick go. He's one of my favourite guys in football, and he's better than both Hoyer and Mallett.

Dallas in massive trouble with Dez and Romo out. Now relying on Weedon to win without your best offensive weapon.

Biggest disappointments from this week

Chicago Bears: Disgusting on monday morning after a ok effort against the Packs the week before, letting Carson Palmer drop nearly 50 on you at home is laughable and now Cutler out for 2 weeks, will be very ugly against the Sea Hawks this weekend.

New Orleans- Losing to Tampa at home in a game where everyone pictured a certain win.

Dallas- Are 2-0 but are now in massive trouble, Lose Dez, now losing Romo. Goodbye Play Offs

Gee Menzel bit stiff to start this week

The Browns don't want to look silly for signing McCown on a 3 year $14m contract, only for the guy they already had, and are paying f**k all, to out-perform him after one game.

They also don't wanna risk Johnny having a bad game, and all the media hysteria that comes with that.

I think it'll be worse for them if McCown chokes.

Johnny was harshly done by last week i reckon, i thought he was pretty decent and for "experts" to say those two TDs were flukes and apart from that he was ordinary is pretty ordinary IMO

Im watching it now. He looks 50x more comfortable than last year.

I havent read anything that says not started Manziel is the right thing to do. Theres a few opiniom pieces on Bleacher Report that are pretty brutal against Mike Pettine for picking McCown.

Why did I think the Dolphins were going to be a serious contender this year?
2 weeks in, hopes are crushed.
At least with the 49ers, I knew we were in for a long season.
Unfortunately, I reactivated my interest with the NFL prior to Hayne signing (last year when I downloaded Madden Mobile).
Not convinced on Kaepernick- could we have not picked up Rodgers instead
Back to the Phins- Tannehill looks solid, but we're lacking everywhere else, despite the addition of Suh...
