Was just watching the interview with the coach and found it really ironic that on their shirts, they advertise their business counterparts, The Power, who happen to be on the other end of the scale

Fantastic advertisement for the ANZ Championship. Free flowing, attacking game with the right level of physicality. Geva Mentor rightly named Player Of The Match for a devastating defensive display on Irene Van Dyk.

Hopefully the entire squad can be kept together for a tilt in 2011. Had to really feel for Kate Beveridge, who spent the game on the bench, as Erin Bell played the game of her life in goal attack.

The rumour going round is that England are refusing to release their players for next season - which would mean no Geva Mentor.

Basketball Australia could do worse than follow the lead here. Get the game on FTA, especially now that One is up and running and get the game back in the faces of people to promote it properly.
