LOL!! Funny you should say that, i think if you asked anyone who doesnt like him, why they dont it would be "He's a loud mouth, he's cocky, he says stupid sh!t"

Then ask for examples and i will GUARANTEE you that prob only 5% would have an answer! The rest would be "oh i dont know." or "I cant remember"

I swear a lot of people are merely lemmings, i think a lot of people hate Mundine because other people hate Mundine, and they dont even know why!

Having said that, yes he has said some dumb stuff over the years

i.e USA deserved the terrorist attacks. Well his theory behind it made sense but you cant say that stuff and his theory in his head really came out SHOCKING in words lol

Watch this, ignore the spastics comments who put it up there, but this shows you just how much pro boxing has become

As WLF said, people pay to see the character, not the fighter, he runs his mouth he talks what ever rubbish he likes and people run along to the pub to watch the fight or get it at home in the anticipation of him losing... more money in his pocket.

So whose the tosser? The bloke who dangles to line out looking for a catch and getting it, or the 1000s of people who like lemmings run along and spent a few 100 over the course of the night on a feed and beers etc, go home disappointed he won, then do it all again in 6 months!

that's very true (although i have never seen him fight apart from the green fight which was at the pub) & ''the greates' m.ali has said he took the wrestler george wagners 'theatrics & big mouth' & realised that if you go over the top people will pay to see you get your head knocked off & thus you earn bigger $$$, george was off course ''gorgeous george.'' .....however some (not all) of chocs comments go a bit too far imho

Mundine is easily the best thing to happen to Australian boxing in the past 10yrs!!

Doesnt mean he is the BEST Aussie boxer though...

I personally would say Michael Katsidis, Vic Darchinyan, Garth Wood, Ryan Waters, Anthony Mundine, Daniel Geale, Danny Green would be my pecking order..

People don't have to 'not like' someone from what they've said necessarily. it can be an attitude or a perception but for me its all of the above.

I didn't like what Mundine said about the "9/11" tragedy in the US. In the interview when he was expressing his beliefs that the US deserved what they got, it was cut off by channel 9.... twice.....

Mundine repeatedly saying he's the best in the world when he's clearly not. He wouldn't take on anyone at the top of their game and when he did he usually came up short. Yes he held belts but he wasn't the best in the world.

Anyway, that's my opinion. Not everyone will agree with it and that's fine.

I think Darchinyan is the best thing that's happened to Aussie boxing personally. For some reason it just doesn't get the coverage.
