They can not take his titles away only uci and the French drug agency. Uci are backing Armstrong until a positive test is shown. Could be a dog fight between USADA and uci.

The only thing i find funny is that Armstrong is NOW fed up and had enough, convient considering there are now teammates who are now willing to testify against him.

Personally i think he has more than likely taking drugs but no point stripping him of his titles, they would just be giving it to another rider who just as likely has/was/is taking drugs anyway.

Let them all take drugs and people will get over the whole drug cheat thing within a couple of years.

I've been eagerly awaiting something concrete in these allegations and finally that's happened. I'm not sure whether it's sad or great for cycling. Sad that the guy who beat cancer and the drug cheats was himself a cheat, great that the testers are showing more and more bite. They are now really showing athletes that if you cheat, your chances of getting away with it forever are diminishing.

I am glad that this wasn't the beat up I thought it would be, but a genuine, well planned and thorough investigation that brought forward untainted testimony (Floyd Landis has no credibility IMHO) and medical evidence to support other corroborating evidence.

What is a surprise is now it's taken out Matt White. This means it will have ramifications for Australian Cycling. White must be sacked from GreenEdge and his role with Australian cycling, but we need to make sure he didn't handle any young athletes incorrectly.

White has stood down ...

http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/mor ... 6494871368

AUSTRALIA'S most influential cycling coach Matt White has confessed to being a part of the Lance Armstrong doping conspiracy that has become the biggest drug scandal in sporting history.

White, 38, a former Olympian, last night stood down from his jobs as the sports director of the emerging Australian professional team Orica-GreenEDGE and coordinator of Cycling Australia's men's road racing program.

"I am sad to say that I was part of a team where doping formed part of the team's strategy and I too was involved in that strategy," White said in a statement that followed a day of crisis talks with GreenEDGE founder, Melbourne businessman Gerry Ryan, and the team's manager, Shayne Bannan, who are both in China.

amazing interview that ... firstly with Cavendish taking over the interview and then Wiggins dropping the bombshell that he wants to win the Giro more than the TDF next year, and will support Froome.

What's with the blue jacket? ... what a weird cat Wiggins is!

Gerald Ciolek wins Milan - San Remo in terrible conditions.
Sagan 2nd & Cancellara 3rd
Race had to be shorten by 40kms due to snow on the 1st 2 climbs
Have a look at the ice on the helmet of the rider, crazy stuff
