Did anyone apart from me actually go to an RAMS game.
I missed only one in 2 seasons, when we beat Penrith by plenty in the last game of the first season.
Good times at the Colonel Light Hotel.

I went to the first home game vs Hunter Mariners. I'd go to a few of their matches if they came back.

As far as this matter goes, well, wouldn't making changes to the payroll list to enusre the team roster is under the cap, be better than render the rest of the season meaningless?

Wow. Stripping them of the Premierships is harsh.

If I was a player this season I'd just go out and SMASH blokes. Who cares if you get suspended, games mean nothing.

Perhaps Billy et al, may just ask for a leave pass, go get some coin in France / Japan etc and play the reserves.....

Massive news for the NRL & sport in Australia...

Most importantly they should lose their 2010 World Club Championship and award it tithe Mighty Leeds Rhinos!

I hope they get the same auditors out for some Sydney clubs.

That would be like giving a player a premiership medal when they didnt even play

Just wipe their names from the record book and move on.

Yep have been stripped of their 2 titles and 3 minor premierships

I am devastated, I cannot believe it but I guess when you have Inglis, Slater and Smith in the same team it would be very hard to stay under the salary cap that's for sure.

We never Blame*
To the tune of It Never Rains by Dire Straits

After over five seasons of wins
The terrible sin made the walls fall on you
The thinner they are mate
The sooner they’ll fall on you
For the fans it’s more than a game - they shed a tear
At the cold empty ground
Oh we never blame around here
But it comes on Storming down

You’ve got no more respect
What do you expect – now that the rats are out
With suits like that mate
Good suits you’ll now have to go without
And now they’ve taken your cups and shields
From your cold empty ground
Oh we never blame around here
But it keeps on Storming down

You’re Alpha Romeo
Where’d it go, when the audit hit town
The more expensive they are mate
The faster they’ll go to another ground
Leaving pain and the echo of cheers
Now you're down
Yes and we never blame around here
But it just keeps on Storming down.

The golden years now a tarnished memory
Victorians started to believe in you
I saw you shaking hands with perjury
Did you know I started to believe in you?
5th tackled by the wheel of fortune
Your busy trying to clear your game
You say ‘We may be sorry, yes we’re in the poo. But
It’s the office who should take the blame’
See you could have been Rugby League defenders
But you made your money your breaks
See that just makes you lying pretenders
What where you all thinking you snakes?
But now you’re hiding in the shadows
Playing for nothing and drinking beers
Oh I can swear I hear you say, way too late in the day
We’ve just been looking for those missing years

And it’s a bad wallop
When David Gallop found about the flaw in your cap
All you had to give him
Was ‘whoops’ well that was crap
And that’s all you have left
Of all the years you spent winning the rounds
But we never blame around here
It just comes Storming down.

Now you know what they say about cheaters
You can’t say you didn’t know the rules
You know what they say about cheaters
There always the first to get called tools
They never gave a damn as they spent up
Faceless rats who all went to ground
They screwed the sport over on their way up
They all thought the Lawyers would never come to town
And the next time you all run on in Melbourne
The ground will never agin be packed to the beams
At the foot of the ladder you’ve gone
In the city of too many teams.

Regards,

REB

*apologies to Dire Straits

If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

And the sponsors are dropping off like flies

Skins, ME Bank and Host Plus have pulled their sponsorships. Clothing supplier Kooga to review their sponsorship, so they could be without uniforms!

Good times at the Colonel Light Hotel.

Went to quite a few Rams games, pity they got cut short, had they got a few more wins and stayed in the comp I think the state may have started to get behind them.

If i recall correctly the storm are due to play the bulldogs here later this season...could be interesting the reception they receive taking into account the state rivalry even if we dont have a team of our own!
Trust the process.

Yeah in July at Adelaide Oval. Rather ironic really since they both have been done for cheating the salary cap
