Live on Foxtel from about 6.30-7pm (Adelaide time) on Friday and saturday night and 3pm (if required) on Sunday I believe...

BIG PHIL'S BITE BLOG:

After a very bumpy ride into Perth, arrived safe and sound and have been down to check out the venue for tonight as it is only 15 minutes away from our accommodation.

Had issues with trying to find our hire car after we booked a Mitsubishi Magna only to be advised after a hapless 1/2 hour search that we in fact had a Kia !!!

Then to make matters worse, there were no GPS units left, luckily we got hold of an old street directory that only saw us drive around the Industrial suburbs looking for some highway for about 20 minutes longer than needed !!!

Thanks to some handy navigation work from my mate Rob, we managed to get to where we needed to be and satisfied we knew the route from accommodation to ball park.

After that, we went for a drive into the CBD and around past the WACA (wanted to pop in and watch some of the Redbacks but didn't have time) now back at the Caravan Park relaxing before getting ready to head down.

There were a few Adelaide Bite supporters on the same flight which is great to see people coming over to cheer on the lads...

Next update will be LIVE from Barbagallo Ball Park in a couple of hours...

Pretty good media coverage over here, so much so that a full page article in the West Australian had a nice size photo of an Adelaide player, Tom Brice in his Australian gear.

Not long to go now, make sure all you Bite fans back home in front of the telly or at The Alma or where ever you are, cheer loud and proud...

Play Ball...

Game about to get underway now but bloody hel it was funny trying to find the 'media box'. We were initially positioned down 3rd base line behind the Heat's box but with restricted views (couldn't even see left field) we have ben repositioned to just behind home plate.

Thanks to the great effort of Mark Schroder (ABL) and Perth Heat Media Manager, they were able to convince a Perth VIP box to give up 1 of their 3 boxes to allow the media have prime position.

It is really windy here guys, the breeze seems to be blowing in from the outfield down toward the home plate. Adelaide currently 2 out with Creswell and Welsh out in Adelaide's lead off at bat.

Pretty healthy crowd for those not watching on Fox, looks like about 2,500 here with a good contingent of Bite fans...

Adelaide now side away and Perth about to bat after Jamie McOwen struck out...

Perth's first batting inning see them get a safe hit and runner on first after having a full count on...

Next batter, Allan de San Miguel, hits a 2 bager RBI to score Perth's first run of the game...

Next Heat batter goes down swinging, Adelaide need to get this out to av oid the runner on 2nd scoring...

Adelaide get the out for side away, just 1 run is the damage...

And I'm not sure if those watching on telly can see, but it is seriously blowing a gale here, it's not the Fremantle Doctor, I think it it is the whole bloody hospital !!!

Adelaide now 2 out after an impresssive double play from the Heat...

Now side away for the Bite, this game is evenly matched with both sides playing to their strenghts...

Heat at bat now in the bottom of the 4th, an Adelaide Bite error from short stop Jeremy Creswell's error leaving Perth eith runners on 1st and 2nd with just 1 out.

Adelaide get the next Heat batter out, just, at first base but with 2 away, Perth now have runners at 2nd and 3rd...

C'mon Adelaide, easy out retires the side and we get another bat...

Mark Brackman pitching reasonably well for the Bite, has this batter with 2 strikes...
