Not sure how new this is but I only noticed it today. If you go to your teams MLB web page and call up the scoreboard page you can click on any half innings score and see video of that innings...for free...no signing up...nothing :D OK it's not live but if there's something in a game you wish you'd seen or like me almost no tv coverage then it's a bonus :D

Apparently the hall of fame will accept Barry Bond's 756th home run ball with the asterisk on it as apparently voted for by people in accordance with what owner of the ball wanted.
If Cooperstown accept the ball and then put it on display with the asterisk on it, that is an outrage in my opinion.

I agree.
The hall of fame shouldn't accept that ball PERIOD, asterisk or not.
They have forced their own hand now and when Bonds retires he will have to be admitted into the Hall of Fame on the back of this stupid decision. If Pete Rose can be banned for life over something like gambling on matches, how can a known drug cheat be admitted.
Total hypocracy IMO.
Rose was the greatest hitter of all time, Bonds is the longest hitter of all-time. Maybe they should both be in their drugs and gambling or not.
But to admit one and not the other is a joke. I know I'm getting a little ahead of myself here but Bonds will HAVE to be admited to Cooperstown now when he retires surely. RUBBISH!!! :?

See what you're getting at but can't say I agree for the most part because if you were to leave Bonds out that means you can't put McGwire, Puckett, Sosa, Caminiti in amongst a myriad of others and you could also make arguments that Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth shouldn't be in there either. Bonds might be considered controversial but where do you draw the line?

What a nailbiter game Dutchy. It's a pity to miss Game 3 because of work.

Even without the Yankees :( , these playoffs have been very enjoyable.

Boston win first one 13-1 with Josh Beckett pitching another great game for the Redsox.

If Colorado can manage to win the next two games, look for Beckett to pitch game 4 and game 7 if it is required.

As great as a pitcher as Curt Schilling is and has been it must be bitterly disappointing for the Rockies to hold Boston to 2 runs at their home park and still lose the game (Boston 2-1).
Will be difficult for Rockies from here obviously with Matsuzaka still to come on the mound for Boston as well.

Boston wins Game 3 10-5.
So much for the Colorado pitchers dominating in their own ball park.
Much more room for the Sox sluggers to hit into.
I'll be surprised if the Rockies win a game and if they do, it will be only because the
Sox will lose IYKWIM(If You Know What I Mean)
