Starts at $69 for Grandstand Bleacher seats and goes to $499 for premium seats behind the home plate.

Pretty pricey. Would love to go though.

I think it will sell out with no issues at all, well, the >$500 seats will anyway.

My lad ( Rangers ) and me ( White Sox ) got our tickets in pre-sale on Friday. Centre field right near the bull pens.

Probably make a family holiday of the days leading up to it and just me a the lad go to the game. Mrs and little Miss can please themselves.
PAFC. Forever.

Good to see the Miami V Atlanta game this morning that the Marlins ended up winning 6-3 with one of the stars being 31 year old Ed Lucas, who finally got called to the majors this year in a great perseverance story. He is hitting a very respectable .295 and the Marlins have won the last seven consecutive games that he has played in.
Detroit pitcher Max Scherzer is the first person to start the season 13-0 since 1986.
Raul Ibanez at the age of 41 is the first player over 40 since 1916 to hit at least 20 home runs before the all star break - he is playing for the Seattle Mariners.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are an MLB best 52-31 and surely certain now to post their first .500 plus record since the days of Barry Bonds and Bobby Bonilla roaming the outfield for them. Speaking of Bonilla, the New York Mets owed the Slugger nearly 6 million dollars for the 2001 season but his declining skills and their desire to sign some prospects meant he wasn't going to play much so his agent negotiated what is arguably one of the most amazing contracts in the history of pro sports - they and the Mets agreed to defer the money owed to 2011 but the catch for the Mets would be that they would pay him 1.25 million dollars a year for the next 25 years!!!!! Not bad for a player who retired in 2000.

Like the team Baltimore has put together and they might be capable of doing some damage in the playoffs.

If anyone knows when it will be out, that would be appreciated.

anyone know a link to be able to watch the replay of the homerun derby??? keen to see bryce harper go at it.. kid got skills...

Bryce Aron Max Harper (born October 16, 1992) is an American professional baseball outfielder with the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball. Harper was selected by the Nationals with the first overall pick in the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft. He stands at 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 230 lbs.[1][2]

Harper won the 2010 Golden Spikes Award, awarded annually to the best amateur baseball player.[3] Going into the 2012 season, baseball prospect-watchers, including Baseball America, MLB.com, and Baseball Prospectus routinely ranked Harper as a top-3 prospect. He made his MLB debut with the Nationals on April 28, 2012. Harper was selected for the 2012 All-Star Game, becoming the youngest position player to ever be selected.[4] He has been touted as a "five-tool player".[5][6] Harper's swing has been compared to that of Babe Ruth.[7]

Really disappointed with the Braun one as he's one of my favourite players.
Texas Rangers going through a rough patch over last 10 going 2-8 and Baltimore now have a dual late inning threat after acquiring Francisco Rodriguez from the Brewers
According to ESPN, Dustin Pedroia is about to agree to a 7 year 100million dollar deal. Good player but don't know if you'd want to shell out that sort of coin for him though.

Pedroia has the game skills to keep fans going to see him and his merch value to Fenway Park is pretty awesome to see. I reckon he is good for four or five years then will start to fall off the pace and so will become prized trade bait to a developing club
