Good to see the Boomers take care of business against Angola although we weren't all that impressive ourselves. Good news is we avoid the US in the next round but Slovenia will be tough.

Australia 76 (Mills 11) def Angola 55 (Jeronimo 9, Lutonda 9)

Sounds like Markovic is ill and won't play and Maric is not 100% either

:? Not a great start. I honestly think Markovic has been under the weather all tournament, to me hasn't looked his usual self. As for Maric, other than the first game I've been thoroughly unimpressed.

I agree at least we've got a million PG's to cover for Markovic and I too have been very disappointed in Maric & Andersen too.

Our bigs will have their work cut out for them tonight. I'll be curious to see who gets the job guarding Nachbar.

Mills needs to pull his head in and I've had a gutful of Andersen.

Mills with a glorious air ball on half time, and we've had our score doubled in one of the worst halves I have ever seen.

Anderson's inside game, MIA, too busy trying to hit mid range jumpers and all he's doing is putting up bricks.

Yeah I'm not actually sure I've ever seen the Boomers play worse than this, we look utterly helpless.

I can't stand Andersen, soft as butter as is always useless with the Boomers.

I know he's got good credentials, but it seems he always disappoints when playing for the Boomers.

I'd rather Alex Loughton than Maric.

I'm with ya Loughton at least looked half decent for us in that series here. Andersen has almost zero inside game, just jacking up three's and long two's, the guy is a waste of seven foot. I better not get started on Maric lol geez

Newley's gone backwards too.

Newley's very streaky. There doesn't seem to be any in between.

I'd give Baynes more court time this half.

Agreed we're getting nothing out of Ando & Maric. I remember Newley's jumper coming along well in Beijing, it's disappeared.
