Just back from my trip, tough conditions. Wind was incredible the whole time. Relentless!

Plenty of salmon but no mulloway.

Had one issue, seemed a 5 metre a Great White enjoyed the beach/gutters as much as we do.

Water has been mucky for about a week now, which is strange considering the Gulf is clear as can be. Well, up until today anyway after this rain, a dodge today and a big blow* tomorrow it will be a bit murky out there, too.

The lake has been tested and has low oxygen levels, throw in a stinker yesterday and the inhabitants are lucky if they've woken up alive this morning.

PS - Lots of crabs in the middle of the lake around the island at the moment which is quite strange.

This was what I got at the Murray Mouth a couple of weeks ago.

Biggest fish we caught in three days.

To be fair we were supposed to be going to Rapid Bay and fish off the jetty, so we had all the wrong gear.

Blueys are thick at dawn and dusk from Largs to Brighton.

If you've got nets and the inclination to hit a jetty early on the weekend then get some heads in them and get down there.

Filled up in the boat Friday and off Grange jetty on Saturday morning.

Went to Port Neill a couple of weeks ago for a week. Weather was great and only had one day we couldn't go out for the whole week. Bagged out on whiting each day and got plenty of abalone to bring home. First day there we bagged out in 20 minutes. Great fishing. I love that place. Want to live there,
