Sixers vs. Hawks, Wednesday 9th

Postby SBR » Wed Nov 09, 2005 7:36 pm

Currently it's Adelaide trailing by 4 points early in the second quarter, watching it on Fox, Hawks with their usual fouls.

I reckon we'll stick with'em and steal it at the end, in true sixers fashion

Well i was wrong :(

Hawks are killing us with their three's, we're not making the hard one which count and it's definatly reflecting on the scoreboard..

Half Time.

Hawks - 58
Sixers - 40

The boys aren't playing at their best, which is pretty clear, and the Hawks look to me as though their giving it 100%. Hopefully they'll tire down a bit in the second half and we'll step it up another knotch, really need to get our crap together.

May aswell wrap it up..

Wollongong 112 - Groves 34
Adelaide 95 - Farley 25

Ahh well, must beat Melbourne at home, that'll make up for this one!

They were terrible last night. Defence was a shambles and no idea at the other end. Must beat Melbourne next.

I keep waiting for the wheels to fall off this mob...you can't go through an entire season winning cliff-hanger games by under 2-3 points and expect to maintain it.

Wollongong is a good side though...as is Melbourne.

Read an article yesterday about Anstey preferring to go and play in Europe than representing Australia in the Commonwealth Games.

Seems players like Anstey, Paul Rogers and Shane Heal are deadset self-loving wankas that would piss and burn their own mothers.
Is 2009 the year of the Tiger?

Yep, they are tossers.

But it's the Commonwealth Games!

Who gives a toss?

It's absolutely meaningless in a basketball context.

I bet Steve Nash, Jamal Magloire and Rick Fox don't turn out for Canada.
