Hi everyone i am just wondering if there is MMA or any type of Martial Arts Fighting in Adelaide?

Are you asking if there is MMA events in Adelaide or training venues? I'm pretty sure MMA is illegal in SA but in QLD it's legal. There is a handfull of SA guys that train in Adelaide yet have to travel to QLD to fight. MMA is growing very fast and I'd think after the 1st UFC in Sydney this Sunday MMA will explode even more in OZ..fingers crossed!

As for other Martial Arts fighiting in Adelaide there is the Knees of Fury (Thai Kickboxing). And although alot smaller events there is Judo and BJJ competitions every now and again I think..

IsoHealth trains in MMA.

IsoHealth has Royce Gracie in every 3-6 months for seminars on BJJ.

A few of my mates go there.

Royce Gracie (the UFC Hall of Famer) every 3-6 months..........are you sure? I did hear he was in Adelaide about 9months ago to do a seminar.

I think there is a bjj/grappling comp on this weekend in Adelaide too. IsoHealth should get Royce out there to promote it.
