i know this could be a hard question to answer, but what sorta crowds would be expected at the games? just a "ball park" figure (pun intended ;) ) we talking like 100-200, or 1000 or so?

i'll be making an effort to get to a few sunday games i rekon. the young lad loves baseball.

depending on weather & what night it is on i think (without counting) you get between 300-1000, i reckon one night last year there was well over 1,000 there as well as i recall saying that i've seen worse crowds here at the footy

cheers mate. thats kinda what i expected.

would be good if oneHD chipped in and showed an aussie game a week. by no means am i a baseball nut, but i'd watch it on tv if it were on. and if the national comp is to get anywhere, it needs coverage!

Just my opinion, but baseball is like watching paint dry....or netball.

I'll be hobbling down there Thursday night to watch the boys...

We spoke with Tony Harris (Adelaide Bite Coach/Manager) this morning on the 5RPH Summer Sports Show and he said there is a real buzz around the baseball club on the eve of a return to the national league.

Bring it on...

This is the modern day version of the Giants mate...

The Adelaide ETSA Bite...

They are the team representing SA in a national league, much the same as the Giants from 89-99...

Is it right that on 25 Nov, a Thursday, they are playing at 11 AM?

Never been to a Giants game or a local game when they were at Norwood during the '80's, so hopefully will make it for a look

That's what I thought too. I suppose they play Sheffield Shield games at that time, but obviously cricket is a different game.
Interesting experiment would be to play from noon onwards and promote it to people to call in on their lunch break.
