1.So who is the big improver going to be? 2.Who is going to challenge the Kensington juggernaut? 3.Who has the best import?

1. Adelaide look to be a solid side with a solid import pitcher. Golden Grove will improve on last year.

2. Sturt has a nice pitching rotation as does port. Depends on our port can cover for Cakebread while on Bite duties. Goodwood will also be tough and Glenelg are always around the mark.

3. Have only seen the pitcher from Adelaide. he looked the goods. Also did hear the H&G import hit a rather large HR against woodville.

I know Port are pretty excited about our new pitcher and our other import, a very, very strongly built DH / 1st base.

Beating Kensington 5-4 in Sundays game gets Port back on track after losing to Southern in the first round.

Enjoying my time playing in the Port's Div 7 North team, apart from the travel, we might be struggling a bit but have a few blokes new to the game and most importantly we are all enjoying our games.

Northern Districts all Korean team is very strong, Golden Grove Dodgers the team to beat.

Back to DIV 1 and 2, Port need to string some wins together to get back on track.

Looks like Golden Grove are the team to beat at the moment. Glenelg playing poorly the last few weeks. Very lucky to beat East Torrens a couple of weeks back.

Golden Grove the team to beat in many grades.

Strong club with good facilities, other than the make up of the second ground.

Would say very little, well, none actually. ;)

Games are either 12:30-2:30 or 3-5pm on Saturdays. 2 hours, timed, in and out ready for a beer. Loving it mate.

Miss the cricket, dont get me wrong. Building an innings, taking wickets etc, but the time involved was getting too much. This is great, there 30 minutes before you start, done and dusted 2 hours later.

Usually earlier with the mercy rule. ( Max 7 runs per innings so if your more then 7 behind with one innings to go, beer time! )

You thinking about a move mate?

3 teams looking for new A Grade Coaches so far in East Torrens, Woodville and Adelaide. Which other teams are going to be up for grabs???

Any rumours from around the league in regards to player/coach movements.

I heard that Darren Roberts currently at Kensington thinks he is a shoe in at the Redsox, but they are after Bourke Webber from West Torrens.

Hernandez from GGCD will go close to Capps, has led their offense all season...You would think Talbot would go close given he is a 2 way guy..only has to win 5-6 games as a pitcher plus he hits well.

Massive first round of the finals I really didnt think Golden Grove had it in them after watching game 1, good to baseballgearonline getting behing the SABL Finals at Kensington though...
Port at Goodwood would have a cracking game 1 to watch, looks like sturt didnt give much punch though...

Saw game 2 of Port V Goodwood and by all accounts game 1 was a belter!

Couple of big hits from the Port boys in game 3 and Goodwood looked demoralised late in the game after being up 1-0 in the series going down 2-1 with a hiding in game 3.

Port travel to Golden Grove this week while our U16's host the GF against Sturt.
