Smokin Joe
Born 12/1/1944
Died 7/11/2011

The great boxer sadly has passed away from Liver Cancer
Perhaps the 3rd Greatest' boxer in his era

My idol in 60s /70s Was Cassuis Clay
I was devastated when Smokin Joe beat Ali in 1971 in one of historys greatest fights
Who can forget Joe
ducking
weaving
slouching
and throwing one of the most powerful left hooks witnessed in boxing history

Joe was
29 wins
0 losses
when he was clobbered by George Foreman in 1973

Joes fought 37 times
32 wins
4 losses
1 draw [his last fight in a comeback in the 80s against Floyd Cummings]
Only 2 men beat Joe they were Ali and Foreman

Smokin Joe R.I.P
