lol. been a Cubs fan since 2003, If you haven't noticed I'm Chicago in all American sports picking the Cubs because i liked there colours better than the White Sox. I'll never forget when i was following the National league champ game against the Marlins in 2003 during an IT lesson and saw the marlins scored 8 runs in the 7th! Steve Bartman!

I'm all Chicago too, but the White Sox, hey, who could go past a black and white team as a Port supporter in the late 80's?

Jumped on the Bears just after the '85 Superbowl win, this was Jordan's second season with the Bulls and I was all in with them then, proudly sported my Bulls bomber jacket like the one below for most of my high school days, adopted the Sox at the same time.

Michael Jordan was the catalyst in me becoming a Bulls fan. When I started seeing more American sports on foxtel in the early 2000s I decided just to adopt Chicago in everything. Would love to see the Bears win a super bowl. Still remember Rex Grossmans underthrown interception in the 4th back in 2006. Feel we'll be waiting a while still :(

Braves 5-1 up top 3rd

If Mets keep losing to Braves they need a complete reshuffle. Braves, as much as i love em, arent that good

Season thrown into chaos :

The Miami Marlins scrambled for roster replacements as they coped with a coronavirus outbreak, with an explosive report bringing into question the MLB's pandemic protocols for the season.

Just four days into the MLB season and the league is in chaos.

The New York Yankees had an unscheduled day off in Philadelphia while the home team underwent COVID-19 tests. The Baltimore Orioles were flying home from Miami without playing a game.

And Washington Nationals manager Dave Martinez summed up the situation in a season barely underway.

"I'm going to be honest with you: I'm scared," Martinez said.

Two games scheduled for Monday night were postponed after more than a dozen Marlins players and staff members tested positive for COVID-19 in an outbreak that stranded the team in Philadelphia.

The Marlins' home opener against Baltimore was called off, as was the Yankees' game at Philadelphia. The Yankees would have been in the same clubhouse the Marlins used last weekend.

Nine Marlins players on the 30-man roster, two taxi squad players and two staff members tested positive, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press, speaking on condition of anonymity because the results hadn't been publicly disclosed.

The Yankees are staying in Philadelphia and have their own clubhouse staff with the team there, the person said. The Marlins postponed their flight home Sunday night after their series finale against the Phillies.

The Orioles planned to return to Baltimore from Miami on Monday night, an indication their scheduled game Tuesday against the Marlins won't take place at Marlins Park.

There are serious concerns that further Marlins players and members of other teams will test positive to COVID-19 in the coming days.

Amazing signing for the ABL

The Australian Baseball League has secured one of the biggest names in the modern game, with Manny Ramirez signing a one-year deal with the Sydney Blue Sox.
The 12-time MLB All-Star is a two-time World Series champion with the Boston Red Sox and was the World Series MVP in 2004.
In a stellar baseball career that began with the Cleveland Indians in 1993 and also saw him play for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox, it was in Boston that Ramirez became a household name, where he is honoured in the Red Sox Hall of Fame.

So, the White Sox, not dissimilar to Port Adelaide, gave up some established talent a couple of years ago ( Frazier, Sale ) to get some high end picks and trade for youth. They made post season for the first time in 12 years.

They've gone and sacked the coach and in AFL terms have appointed Mick Malthouse, 76 year old Tony La Russa who hasn't been a manager since guiding the Cardinals to the 2011 World Series win.

I just don't know...

White Sox at 43-25 have the best record in the majors.
