New diamond at Port looks great, pity the boys got over run by a strong Glenelg side in the very first game on there.

The Div 2 had a very nice win. The ground is looking great, The council did a great job. Its up to the players to look after the rest. The new supporters hill makes it a great place to view the game.

So far this year Sturt off to a flyer as are Glenelg. Its a long season. You would expect money bags kensington to be up there, and with Goodwood signing James Mcgowan to be the teams to beat. Team that manage there pitchers the best will get the results needed to make playoffs

first game on the weekend was a pretty easy introduction.
We beat Gawler 26-0.
only batted 4 innings as a team. had 3 at bats, had a walk first hit, hit a double second bat then skied one to the infield 3 bat.
Still so many rules for me to get my head around.

Think it's time for Northern Districts to head back down a division or 2 ( a bit like what they did to Henley & Grange a few years back). It's getting ridiculous the amount of runs they are giving up (28 runs in the 2nd game). Admittedly they lost 3-1 in the first. They are so far out of their depth it's not funny and can not be good for juniors coming through to see the seniors getting flogged week in week out.

I also heard they gave up 22 runs in the first innings of Div 2 as well.
