Below is a request from the president of the SABL which is self explanitory and whilst it is off topic I ask the members of this Forum to PLEASE just take a moment to respond to the survey. If a Council can close down such a sporting icon, if they can get away with this who knows who is next ?????
This is not about baseball it is about ALL sport !

To the South Australian Baseball community, I call for your support.

The Sturt baseball club is in community consultation regarding their lease of W A Norman Reserve.
We require your help to provide a strong message of support through an online survey provided by Mitcham City Council.

The Sturt Baseball Club has over the years provided SA with not only some of the best baseball players to ever grace our fields but also have one of the best junior programs in SA. We are fighting to keep Sturt at W A Norman Reserve where they have been for nearly 40 years. Let’s help keep this tradition alive and protect our fields for future generations to come.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for moving this to where no one will read it.
You have absolutely no idea how this will affect ALL sport.
Are you the same mod that moved the post about JAS ?????

Where had you previously put this thread.

I think 'other sports' would be a fairly sensible place for a thread about baseball on a football site.

I'll sign it, hopefully Sturt can stick around at that ground, was the best of all the baseball grounds I ever played at.
