Went to Perth Cup when I was 14(13years ago). I was wearing a Chicago Bulls shirt and sold it to some drunk bloke for $70 and his shirt. Zero bets, 1 winner.

It is "family" day but at least the crowd is smaller

Kalgoorlie Cup week is great. 3 race days and the entire week every night all pubs and clubs are full and the atmosphere in the town is great.
