Mundine knows he will lose at that weight. He all but admitted it on 5AA last night.
There is a reason he has avoided the rematch

What a waste of everyone's time and effort, this is one of the most pointless fights in boxing history and nothing more than a retirement fund boosting bout for these once great boxers

The slowdown of the boxing world!!!

This fight should of have happened over 5 years ago

Seems that we, the taxpayers, have fronted up about $3m to have the fight here.

Wonder how ticket sales are going?

It'll generate much more than that in tourism, the government should do things like this more often.

Not sure how ticket sales are going but there's no way I'll be going, I just saw the price of tickets and where some of them are!
Pub with cheap beers for me.

I heard a pollie say for every dollar the government invests in major events we get a $35 return. Can't be right, other wise we'd be spending $700m on events not the Oval!

Fight 7: QUADE COOPER V JACK McINNES

I'd heard "about 20,000" so adds up. Can't see many people coming in from interstate then if the number is that low.

Remember, the SA gubinment spent $3m to have it here....

Yep it's what i've heard also.

Not surprising given:

a) the cost of tickets
b) as WHUFC said the calibre of boxers - two older guys who are past their prime
c) the fact every bloody pub in Adel seems to be showing the fight with drink specials etc

I'm not a boxing fan but would have still gone for the experience if the tickets weren't so expensive.

Everyone said that last time Green would knock him out.
Mundine made him look stupid.

I hope Green wins but Mundine is a proud man who will be hard to beat.
