I dont think anyone anticipated the gassing Green would get dropping to that weight level. Much different story this time.
At the end of the day, Mundine will win at his preferred weight, and Green will win and his preferred weight, and they will argue forever about who is better.

Yep it's what i've heard also.

Not surprising given:

a) the cost of tickets
b) as WHUFC said the calibre of boxers - two older guys who are past their prime
c) the fact every bloody pub in Adel seems to be showing the fight with drink specials etc

...but none in the Port. :(

I remember watching their first fight at the Highway Inn, just before it was renovated.......there were some interesting characters in there that night!
Witnessed a couple of fights on the way out in the car park about 1am, made the actual fight look tame.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

They might be older, they might be past their prime, but I'd still love to see Mundine get KO'd

What weight are they fighting at ?

To me it looks like a middle weight v Cruiser weight ?

Mundine much better boxer but both way past best and both glass jaws.

Cruiserweight - could be a disadvantage for Mundine coming up so far in weight, think he weighed in around 78kg though so not bad.

If Mundine can use his speed he will win this one comfortably i think.

Will be interesting to see the reception Mundine gets tonight

I hope Adelaide doesn't embarrass itself and turn tonight into red neck city.

I agree with others in that I believe Mundine is a divider and has no intention of reconciliation, coming out and saying Jess Mauboy is only signing the anthem because she is black. It's a no win situation if they had picked a white girl it would have been because they are racisct against blacks.

I would love to ask him what outcome he wanted when he said Americans deserved September 11, that was provocative with no other outcome than dividing people.

I honestly don't think he would be happy even if the Australian flag was made the Aboriginal flag

BUT that doesn't mean a crowd should use that to racially vilify a bloke, I would hate to see tonight set us back another 10 years
