Really exciting year for an Astros fan.

Springer, Gattis, Altuve, Correa....and now Bregman and Reddick.

The offense is gonna be great.

The White Sox traded Sale and Eaton from the pen, meaning we'll be rubbish defensively.

Right in the middle of a rebuild, the Sox, traded nearly 20 players in the off season. Youth, prospects, more youth, more prospects.

Yes, Jerry M. Reinsdorf. He's owned both for about 25 years, he's an 81 year old ex-lawyer who made his billions as a dodgy tax / land / real estate mogul. Sooner he's "no longer the owner" the better. ;)

Turns out the Astros offense is only good on paper. Loads of guys stranded on base.

Most of the HRs are when the bases are empty, and our most used reliever, Gregerson, happens to give the game away a fair bit. He just gave up 6 in the 7th.

The White Sox were one of the surprise packets of April.

After winning the Indians series 2-1, beat the Twins 2-1, went down to Yanks 1-2 lost the first two against Cleveland and then went on a 6 game streak ( 1 over Cleveland, swept the Royals ) and then beat the Tigers 2-1 in that series to sit 13-10 and be 0.5 GB last years division winners the Indians.

Most of the wins on the back of solid hitting, the offence the key to the 13-10 start.

Nats on fire with the bat. Hit 23 runs in their win over the mets! Anthony Rendon went 6 for 6 with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs.

Good to see we aren't leaving it all for Harper to do!
