Could we see AFL teams try and follow the Rams strategy of almost giving up on the drafts (especially picks between 20-40 that carried some trade value) and just going hard at the trade table for selected pieces of the puzzle, aiming to win 1 superbowl rather than looking for a long era of success.

You haven't seen Geelong's recent trade/draft policy?

Russell Wilson leaving Seahawks for Denver and now being reported Deshaun Watson leaving Houston for Cleveland after indicating to them they were out of the running.

Be interesting to see where Baker Mayfield goes now.

Von Miller off to the Bills.
Devonte Adams leaving A-Rod and Packers for the Raiders.

The AFC is going to be a seriously tough Conference and conversely NFC pretty ordinary and in theory a lot easier to get to NFC championship / Superbowl.
Success is in trying
