NFL 2023-24

Postby DoublebluTiger » Mon Sep 04, 2023 6:42 pm

Season kicks off this weekend.

Hopefully the Lions go 1 better and make the play-offs.
How long will the Rodgers honeymoon last at the Jets?
Can the Chiefs go back to back or will the Bills finally break through for their maiden win?

Thoughts?
Success is in trying

Chiefs have had a mixed off season but their OL has as been improved greatly from last season giving Pat even more time. I think if our WR can catch they’ll put up some big scores.

No Chris Jones due to a contract dispute worries me a bit in our defence but you only have to score more than the opposition.

Tomorrow is a real danger game for the Chiefs, had a poor off season IMO and probably no Kelce and limited minutes to a number of others.

The Lions will make the playoffs. They'll be good but not great, the rest of the division is pretty ordinary IMO.

Vikings are hoping an improved defence with Flores who should be a better Defensive co-ordinator make them contenders, but overall I don't see it and think we will be lucky to win 8 games.

Joe Burrow has agreed to a 5 year extension of his contract at Cincinnati at an average of 55 million a year to make him the highest paid player in NFL history.

Good win by the Lions and an entertaining game to watch. No doubting the Chiefs would have won with Kelce though.

Chiefs have the worst record in the NFL!

Week 1 and the Chiefs, Bills and Bengals all lose. No one would have picked that.
