It all starts next Friday morning our time where the Eagles take on the Cowboys.

Speaking of the Cowboys, this morning they traded Micah Parsons to Green Bay!

Jalen Carter, 6 seconds into the game is ejected for spitting on Dax. Not even a snap yet.

No good for Tyreek. How many children will have have during his layoff ?

How bad are the Bengals, they’d be ordinary even with Burrow

Yep their o-line is horrendous. No QB would get the job done with such limited time to throw.

Seeing and reading the reports, I wonder if Tyreek will ever get back.

2026 contract isn't guaranteed either, not a good couple of days

Saw a highlight pop up on my feed today.
The jaguars (i think) QB falls over, twice, before getting up and running in the TD himself.
I think it was against Taylor's Boyfriend's team.

The question is, why wasn't the play over when he fell down?
Hasn't he taken a knee, no different to when they want to run the clock at the end of a game?

I think the difference is 'taken a knee' has to be done 'immediately' and from behind the scrimmage.

I think they also differentiate between 'dropping the knee' and stumbling/falling over.

Happy to concede I'm no expert.

Yeah, I guess it's like Aussie Rules where if you drop the ball on your own its fine, whereas if you drop it while tackled (at least under the old interpretation) that was holding the ball.

Must be something like either needs to be an intentional knee, or any other knee while being touched by an opponent.

Needed to be touched by an opponent to “be down”

Or intentionally take a knee as often QB's will do at the end of a game.
