Anyone flown Jetstar on an international route before? Was it good, bad, other?

Yeah once, pain in the arse mainly because of the route (had to go via Sydney and Melbourne for a flight to Thailand), the one thing I did like is you could pay extra to be assured of extra leg room seats. I much prefer Singapore, Malaysian and Emirates but if its a direct route for you and you dont mind paying extra for food, entertainment and some seats then it'd be no worse/different to Qantas, unless its changed in the last 2 years. If you have to go out of your way ie via Sydney or Melbourne when you can get a direct flight elsewhere, I'd look elsewhere.
I always pay a little extra to go Singapore or Malaysian these days, well worth it.

Mrs flew to Thailand via Singapore last year and did not have an issue. We have now booked to go to NZ in 4 weeks time with them as a result.

Have flown to Hawaii with them twice before with no issues.
You just have to pay extra for food and entertainment or bring your own.

Going to Singapore for the weekend in May with Jetstar. Think we paid $140 return each or something silly. I'm only going to get some grado headphones.

No complaints about Jetstar international. Got there and back on time and in comfort. Japan or LA next year I think.
