From my experience the best pubs in Melbourne are outside the CBD.

All good mate, was just joking, dont really have a tardis.
Been to heaps of pubs since then, didnt like the Woolshed at Docklands.
Been to the Imperial a few times and found it good.
Also stayed at St Kilda a couple of times to see bands at the Espy and loved it there.
Also went to a couple of massive pubs in the south west to see bands that were good, stuffed if i remember what they were called though, one was next to a big shopping centre and the other was almost as far as Frankston and seemed like it was in the middle of nowhere. They reminded me of the vibe we used to hve here at places like the Bridgeway, Lennies and Old Lion when big bands used to play there.

There was a pub in Doncaster that was quite good.....but that was 20yrs ago....not far away from the Westfield there.
It was the local cops drinking hole
