Air Asia

Air Asia launched their services from Adelaide in the wee hours this morning. Me and the missus are booked in to Malaysia early next year. They are offering $99 fares to Kuala Lumpur; outstanding value.

Their regular fares will be around $199-$300 one way which is still excellant value.
Look out for their onwards specials from KL, regularly have Thailand for $19 and Hong Kong for under $100
We go to Asia regularly and have used them plenty of times without an issue
Just make sure that you organise airport transfer from the correct airport as Air Asia dont land at the main KL airport but the KLLCC terminal just up the road, many people make the mistake especially if they are transferring to another airline in KL

If you want to save a few bucks, prebook your meals and entertainment aswell as seat allocation and extra luggage.

Got the extra luggage which we will spread between the 4 of us.
All 4 have gadgets so that will keep them occupied.
Wasn't concerned about the seat allocation.
From what I could see the meals are really cheap on there anyway and we are not travelling till next April.
Even if the meals do cost us a little more the price we got the trip for was fantastic.
Started to have a look at accomodation last night.
That is the expensive part.

Singapore is one of the more expensive cities in Asia but there are still plenty of good offers up for grabs.
I always find the best deals are direct on the hotels website rather than Expedia, Wotif etc.
Last visit we nabbed a couple of days at the Marina Bay Sands for 70% off.
Most hotels have regular sales
