It was $1.01 at the shell and Mobil on Victoria rd and at the shell on the corner of Tapleys hill rd and port rd
Shell with 4cents off made it 97.1 cents litre.

I got unleaded at 109.9 at Stirling about 9.30pm Friday night on my way back from the show.
It usually goes up dramatically on Fridays for the weekend, and was higher than that in the morning.
However, the new managers of the BP between Aldgate and Bridgewater seem to be giving the Stirling outlets some weekend competition.
I'll top up at the BP regularly when I go that way to help encourage them!

$1.04 at the Shell on Wright Road Valley View this morning - clearly its another 4c less with one of their vouchers! Mobil was the same price yesterday on North East Rd.

So what is going on - a price war between the major companies, yet one that BP or United dont seem to want to participate in?

Petrol was around $1.12 at most stations in the southern suburbs except for Hackham Liberty and Kangarilla service centre. Hackham is usually about 10c more expensive; Kangarilla is unfailingly at $1.34 regardless of what day it is or how much petrol costs elsewhere. :?

Willunga service station is a lot like that too - they just seem to maintain one price whether the others are fluctuating or not...lol

why not give it a try?
empty the tank and then fill up with premium. I drove a 1995 falcon, with exhaust and all that and the first few tanks were unleaded, I would get about 400km-450km out a tank, went to premium and i was getting 500km-570km sometimes more from a tank, I thought it was definately worth it, and the car run better IMO

Helps to get the car serviced and have it tuned to run on the higher octane fuel.

IIRC I read recently that unleaded is about 84 cents a litre in the US - translated from their price in US Gallons.
[Which are smaller than our Gallons were.]

But we all know that NO US Government is ever going to make them pay a realistic price for their fuel...would be professional/political suicide...same would probably apply to the Middle East oil producers too.

You'll probably have no trouble telling when poor little Peter is on his way...every paper and magazine will have his 'tearful story' of the front cover...to say nothing of the tv advertising it as well every 10 minutes. At least I can't send you that slapper he was married too so that's a bonus...might chuck in those two X Factor chavs though :-k

I wouldn't use premium if I was you ... you would hardly notice any gain but would have a bigger hole in your pocket.
