Postby Dirko » Fri Sep 10, 2010 5:23 pm

Hi All,

Am in the process of getting quotes etc for a Swimming Pool. We have a big backyard so can a decent size pool in (approx 11m x 4m).

Any recommendations on companies etc and filter advice etc etc....

Cheers

We're in the process of putting one in our front yard - good size. Two 50m Pools, a lap pool, a diving pool and a water polo pool.

As long as the traffic stops when I cross Morphett Road to get to it, I'll be happy. Although, beware of dirt and rubbish covering your whole house when they first dig the hole.

My parents used Freedom Pools, they were very happy
I do know 1 person that had a drama with them recently but was quite trivial IIRC
Give them a shot

Easy.

Get Good Advice.

My pool is 20+ years old and down the back of my yard.

A great pool that adds to the value of my property.

I wish it was closer to my house sometimes....

We used Freedom Pools a few years back. Overall, pretty happy with the whole process. Back then, Freedom did the vast majority of pools in Adelaide, not sure if thats the same now.

Only thing to be wary of is them promising to get the thing up and going before Xmas. They had ours in the ground, but not up and running.

Do pool companies also do landscaping if required? (more than just digging out the normal amount for a pool)

I'm not sure if all do, but I know of one that does.
