April Fool's Day

Postby CK » Fri Apr 01, 2011 10:00 am

Has anybody had any fun with one of the favorite days of the year? Haven't seen as many nonsense stories in the papers this year.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

Someone got on one of the fantasy football sites and posted that Nick Riewoldt had done his hammy again. Got my heart racing for a second.

yeah i have heard they get into it every year, i was just wondering how it would go this year as there is nothing on the ad itself to identify it as BMW. its only when you go to the website that you find out. i also know for a fact that the rego dept knew nothing about it. i wish i could have heard the first few calls to the call centre about it before they worked out what was going on

Just listening to my favourite radio show on BBC Radio 2 and they've obviously got comedian Rob Brydon in to do an impersonation of regular presenter Ken Bruce.

It's bloody awful...sounds like he's doing an impression of Terry Wogan doing an impression of Ken...so a Welshman impersonating an Irishman impersonating a Scotsman and looks like he's doing the whole 2 1/2 hr show...surely just the first few minutes or half hour would be enough for us to get the joke

Never been a fan of Gavin and Stacey but he's been excellent as a guest on panel shows like QI...but this morning he was terrible.
