Japan's newest Sturt supporter

Postby therisingblues » Thu Mar 31, 2011 2:46 am

March 9th at 3:59 Japan time, Mrstherisingblues finally delivered a very healthy baby boy.
Therisingblues Junior, came into the world at 3,400 grams.
I have heard it said many times that fatherhood is one of the greatest feelings in the world, but I never realised exactly what it meant until it happened to me. If I could put it into one word, I think "miracle" is most apt.

For him of course, the whole world lays awaiting, so while it maybe a little bit early to tell for sure, he appears to have good, strong hands capable of winning the ball in the thickest of packs or against larger opponents in the air. His legs seem developed to propel his solid frame at speed, whether chasing down opponents, or running with the ball (once he has learned to walk, that is). I suspect his kicks will one day eat distances up to 80 meters. This is all conjecture of course, as he may choose to design space shuttles and be too busy to devote time to the sacred blue guernsey (I better throw in one of these ;) ). But whatever he does it will be his choice.

It's a boy! :D
May he surpass his father in everything of merit.
Thank you all.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Always wondered what the 'rising' part meant, now I know!

Well done to you all, best of wishes over the many years ahead. And get him a footy and club membership ASAP!
